Devlin

First Generation:

Rosanna McCloskey b. 1820 to 1823 m. John Devlin,both b. Ireland. 

John died prior to 1868.  Rose and their 7 children traveled from Ireland to Glasgow, and boarded the ship Iowa to the United States (Port of New York) passenger list dated Feb 25, 1868.  The family settled in Cohoes, on Garner St.

Second Generation (all born Ireland):

Mary b. ? 1850 (m. John Driscoll b. ? 1855 NYC. John's family lived next door to Mary's family on Garner St. in Cohoes.)
Ann or Hannah b. 1851 or 1852
Catherine b. 1854
Pat b. 1856 or 1857
Bernard b. 1858 or 1861
John b. 1860 or 1863
Ellen b. 1862 or 1865

Third generation:

Mary Devlin and John Driscoll lived in Green Island. 
Their children:
Anna b.1882
John Henry (b. prior to 1882)
James (b . prior to 1882)

Mary Devlin Driscoll died of pneumonia at the age of 32, in 1882. 
Her daughter Anna was less than a year old and never knew her mother.
