He left for the West about fifty years ago, and lived in several western states during his long life. Mr. Yates is survived by two sons, Emmons B. and Frank, of Bellwood, Neb., and two sisters, Mrs. E. M. Pike of Utica and Mrs. Charles E. Kinney of Wynantskill, N.Y.
