WATERMAN-OBITUARY-Mrs. JANE WATERMAN, wife of the late J. M. Waterman and mother of M. M. Waterman of the firm of Green & Waterman of this city, died at her residence in Williamstown, Mass., yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Waterman had been in failing health since her husband died about six months ago. She recently suffered a stroke of paralysis, and gradually failed. Mrs. Waterman was seventy-three years old, and had resided in Williamstown most of her life. She was greatly esteemed. The funeral will occur in Williamstown, Saturday afternoon, Rev. A. R. Church of North Adams officiating.

He was a member of company F., second regiment, New York calvary. He had an honorable war record. WHYLAND-Obituary-Intelligence has been received of the death of Mrs. Caroline Whyland, a former resident of Troy. The deceased died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Worthy of Brooklyn. Mrs. Whyland was the mother of Mrs. W.R.Westervelt of 25 Eighth street. She was born in Grafton in 1807, and was generally respected. The remains will be brought to this city for interment.   54-1
